I do not have a Traditions but I shoot a lot of Bloodlines...

Loads - 110 grains T7-3f
Cap - RWS Dynamit Noble 1075+
Sabot - either the Red Knight or the Orange MMP - .457-.458x50 sabot.

Most often I use a .458x300 grain bloodline bullet, but I am suggesting to you the .458x275 gr. Bloodline is IMO - the best all-around bullet I have ever used.

This is the 300 grain but the 275 looks just like it.
Keep shooting muzzleloaders - They are a blast!!

forget about that orange sabot, it takes a jack hammer to load them and my traditions had a .502" bore.

It is not very often I agree with Jon but in this case he has the rifle and I do not - I can tell you my Knight is a .502 and the bullet works very well in that rifle...

There is another option...

This is a Lehigh .458x305 it is built for a 45-70 rifle... It does not have the diameter of the ML 300 grain and therefor might really work well in your traditions. In my knights I have to use a HPH-24 sabot to get it to fit tight to stabilize.

The other option is the .452x250 grain Bloodline and swap out sabots to the one that fits your rifle.  There are several options.

So i took the 275 bloodline to the range and they are shooting great out of my tradition with 100 grs of powder they are just a pain in the rear to load very very tight.

You might try some MMP HPH-3p-EZ load sabots.  The petals are a bit thinner than the Orange 458 sabot.

Red - no not all - that sabot is the one made for Knight by MMP and is the same thing as the Orange MMP.

Another thought for you - the more you shoot your rifle it will loosen up a bit as the barrel becomes polished.  I usually polish the barrel on a new rifle with JB's bore paste, just to clean it up.

Traditions are somewhat noted for their tight bores.
