FYI-my neighbor and his cousin got blanked up there as well after using up 10 points, he said it was a weird year up there.

That's all that really matters.   :tup:  positive mental attitude goes along way in the elk woods.  I think those that love to hunt don't worry about the kill.  Rather keep it number one on the to do list and every action should be geared to that goal.  But to relish on the kill while hunting, that can make it a grind, as kills can be a lot less frequent that the hours in the brush.

It was a cool hunt with hardly any people, so that was the quality of it.
Met a few of the members on here, RT and coach, Band
masonctyhitman and ghost hunter all excellent stand up guys, was my pleasure to meet you all
The bulls were just quiet, got into elk everyday just no big bulls for me.
looks like quite a few of us in the Peaches losers lounge this year.
hope rifle and muzzy guys do well

Sounds like everyone had an opportunity to kill a descent bull, but everyone was holding out for a monster. Correct?
