What would you do differently?
would head to the bottom immediately. I was nervous about hunting that country the first few days and tried to stick to the tops. Did get i to some elk but not like in the bottom.

Well I know nicks good for 5 yds and michael.... He needs to remember his range finder 20&30yd shots were passed up last year due to uncertainty  :bash:

Most mulies I've seen in there have been 4x4 with big bodies. The last time I saw anything larger was 20 years ago that bailed over the side off the 43 east of the Cloverland.  The last 10 years the whitetail have actually been moving into the canyons from the top.
There is no greater respect to have for wildlife than to harvest an animal fairly and use it's flesh to feed your family.  ~me

Yes. I see plenty of whitetail up there too. I've come home with one the last two years. I was selected for the 172 muzzy buck for that unit. Hoping to find a wayward mulie up there.

I saw 3 nice bucks last year total one was very nice 170-180 buck in a real crap hole :chuckle:
