Mill creek watershed

Looking for someone's brain to pick regarding hunting deer in the mill creek watershed!  Anyone been in there in recent years.

It's open by special permit.  I take it the OP drew a permit?

 :yeah:  the watershed is no joke.  seen some BIG mulies around the rim, but haven't spent any time looking for them in the hole.  elk, sure, but even they look like ants when they're in the bottom!   :yike: :yike:

Pretty good shape for 45.  Definitely not in my prime shape.  Love the question!  Started walking hiking regimine as soon, as I seen I drew.  Can you camp there?  How many can go in with me.  Are deer high or low?  Trailheads?

No camping in the shed. You will not be able to enter it until the patrol guy drops you off for your hunt and you have to be back out at night.

I think I will spend time on top.  Rock out croppings\timber? Should I pack in spotting scope?  Or would that be worth it? How long will it take to hike to the top?

I was in the Shed a couple years ago and saw two monster mulies. However they were at the top of green peak and only crazy people would go in there for deer. I guess you can call me crazy because I still try to draw it. Should be a fun hunt if your body is ready for it.
