Just got back from Curlew lake, on saturday the wife and I saw 3 black bears in one area. If any one is going to hunt bear soon, send me a PM and I will get you within 100' of where they were seen. One bear let us get within 40 yards of him. Don't ask for pics
I am still figuring out my Canon and I lost all my pics from the trip!!!
IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just gotta ask...why didn't you shoot at least one with your rifle instead of the Canon?

Unfortunately the area we were scouting for rifle deer is in unit 101, which does not open for genereal season black bear till sept. 4. Just a few miles west the season opened aug. 4th. Don't it figure!
