Duck & Goose Calls Set ~ Absentee bid
« on: June 15, 2015, 06:20:02 PM »
Hi all Duck & Goose Hunters   :hello:

The Washington State Trappers Association is going to have their Annual Trappers Rendezvous on August 7-9, 2015
We have a live auction of some great items this year.

This year I made a nice set of Duck & Goose Calls for the auction. See pictures below

For you that don't know me, I have been making game calls since 1989.  Started out making them for myself and turned it into a small business after making some for friends.  (Long story, that is what happens when you make one for a friend  :bash: and everybody also wants one)

I have been told from people that have my calls, that they sound real good and easy to blow.
They say the duck and goose calls are some of the easiest to blow and have great sound.
They say they would put them up against some of the big boys calls.  I'm not sure of that.  :dunno:  :yike:

So I made this set of Duck & Goose Calls out of an old gun stock I had laying around.
I believe it is walnut and I would have to say grade 1 or 2.  Nice looking piece.

I put a cooper band around both of them and engraved them with my name.
Both have smoke color inserts.  What I consider one of the best.

The Duck call is double reed
For you that don't like double reed and like single, all you have to do is take the top reed out.

The goose call is a what they call a short reed, easy to work.

I put the set in a nice wood box, It is signed and says: donated to WSTA from JC

The set of calls will be auctioned off Saturday night the 8th.
If you are unable to attend the auction in person, or do not want to wait to bid in the live auction, another way to participate is by placing an absentee bid.  You can place this bid here and we will present it at the auction.

All funds from this call go to the "Washington State Trappers Association"  If you are the winner please make out a check to WSTA, send it to me and I will forward the check and send you this Beautiful Set of Duck & Goose Calls.
Thank you for participating
So bid often and as much as you want.
JC   :hello:
