Observatory Quality Archery Bull Tag
« on: July 07, 2015, 02:11:55 PM »
I was one of the few lucky ones to draw a tag this year. 1st time putting in for an Eastside Hunt and drew with 3 points. Beginners luck. I have already began preparing for this hunt and can't wait. To help with getting some more motivation, I wanted to start this thread and was hoping for you previous successful Observatory Hunters to post some pictures of some of the big bulls that have been taken from there. Archery, muzzle, rifle doesn't matter. Let's see some Pictures. There is a Peaches Bull thread going so why not have this one. Thanks Robby

There are no bulls in the Observatory. Peaches Ridge and Colockum are the best units in the state  :bash:

yeah he was with about 8 cows and still rutting pretty hard. I got him on October 7th. There were 4 big Bulls in this little area and they all had 6-10 cows each. Wouldn't come in to cow calls at all.

What kinda calling did you do to get him to come in? or did you sneak into range?

I didn't do any calling, I ambushed him as he was headed to his bedding area. Shot him at 46 yards
