Special permit not received yet from WDFW
« on: July 08, 2015, 10:09:53 PM »
Does WDFW still send special permit holders a hard copy of their special permit?
My hunting partner and I were selected for Peaches archery bull, and neither he or I have received an email, or anything on paper from WDFW notifying us of our drawing results. Luckily I  have drawn some kind of special permit the last 4 years, and have always had a hard copy in my hand by now.

We don't have any of ours yet for our house either.  I am not panicking yet, the computer still shows me as drawn.  Haha

Go to WDFW's help site.

I called the WDFW about the same question for mine. They, WDFW, told me that my license/elk tag is my permit. Mine is for the Yakima Training Center, Alkali disabled permit.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

I have not received anything either. I think I will print a copy of the results I was selected for.

Do you really trust them that much???

I do not trust any, any Government. This agency seems to have a reputation for lying or not knowing anything. Hopefully, that helps..

Trust them about what?  The original question was when the permits would be mailed:

Does WDFW still send special permit holders a hard copy of their special permit?
My hunting partner and I were selected for Peaches archery bull, and neither he or I have received an email, or anything on paper from WDFW notifying us of our drawing results. Luckily I  have drawn some kind of special permit the last 4 years, and have always had a hard copy in my hand by now.

That question is answered on WDFW's Help site: “We mail permits to drawn applicants around mid-July. If you did not draw a permit, you will not get a mailed notice. For spring bear, we mail notices by the end of March.”

And no, a license is not a substitute for the permit. The permit must be with the hunter while hunting, in addition to the hunting license and transport tag.

Clearly spelled out on the website. You don't have them yet because it's early yet.

I have not received my permit cards in the mail yet but my second deer tag has been available to purchase online since the day after the drawing posted.

 :yeah:

But why would you put any effort to find an answer for yourself?

When you can go onto an internet forum and ask somebody else to answer it for you, then have dozens of different answers and opinions, whether informed or not???
