Yeah thats my house in the background of some of those pics.  This one was in the middle of the damn day.  Ive had one cat staring at me through my living room window, and another snuck up on me while i was out taking a break from doing yardwork.  And chased several bears out of the back yard, heard wolves howling around the house several times.  And im not in the boonies, hell, im on a paved road.  Theres a good reason i thinned out and limbed up the trees around my house.  Makes it a little less creepy when a guy steps outside to take a leak in the dark.  It used to be a solid wall of green, critters could be 15 yards from my porch and i wouldnt be able to see them.

Bango, that Pileated Woodpecker on the log is cool!
Those are what woody woodpecker was modeled after.
They're a real punk-rock looking bird.

Looks like hes peckin the log where a cougar shredded it a couple years ago.  I took this pic i think just the next day after the cat shredded it.  Got her on cam working the log.

Some trimmed bones and a bloodshot blownout shoulder from my bear.  Apparently the cat thought it was suspicious.

Curiosity killed the cat, he wasn’t going to take any chances that day.
