Clocked 2 elk calves at 45mph+ this morning

Early this morning I had 2 elk calves run out in front of me and then bolt away from me in the opposite lane.   I dropped my speed to ~45mph and I wasn't catching them...  it was unbelievable how fast they were moving.

I was thinking you meant a different kind of "clocked"....your version is better
