If you look at the harvest trends in the article it is pretty obvious there is no biological merit in stopping trapping. This is all about animal rights.

I think this shows you what we need to be prepared to defend against in the future. One thing we have going for us is we are better organized then the CA trappers. Numbers matter and we have a very high percentage of trappers in WSTA. It makes a big difference when I can say I represent 600+ trappers.
