I would ask for a special levy to pay for the nuisance beaver.

OR ask all neighbors to sign a waiver to hold the school not liable for any flooding.

Talk is cheap...  Levy would fail and not one land owner would take the risk.

Game over....   People are soo stupid.

25 years ago the only nuisance would've been trying to figure out who got to trap it:  the students, the science teacher, the ag teacher, the janitor or the principal.   :chuckle:

Funny, they are going to relocate them upstream or downstream from the article. I wonder how long it will take for the beavers to get home.
Could be a lifetime job for a WCO trapping and moving the same beavers over and over. :chuckle:

 :yeah: idiots.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Here's the latest on this beaver (see link below).  The whole drama could have been avoided if the trapper had been DISCRETE:

 - Do not place signs announcing traps in the area - duh
 - Do not set koro-type traps where people are likely to trigger them and get hurt
 - Camouflage your Koro traps with light branches, weeds or grass (some wiser beaver seem to insist on this, lol)
 - Check traps in high-traffic areas EARLY each morning
 - Don't upset the public by saying dumb things like "...shoot it in the head."
