Training my gun dog
« on: August 08, 2015, 01:33:34 PM »
so this year my wife and I acquired a Spinone Italiano.  He's an awesome dog.  To this point I haven't been a bird hunter but since I've got this great pup I think I might be working towards it.  Any tips on prepping my dog for hunting?  He was put on quail at 5 or 6 weeks and did well so I know he has the instinct.

Buy perfect start/finish and follow it, or take him to a pro. My good friend has a Spinone that came straight from Italy. It was fun to hunt with one.
Not for self, but for country
