Delta Force Bow Strings
« on: August 02, 2015, 08:37:13 PM »
I have 2 identical G5 Primal bows. The one needed a new string so instead of paying $150 for one from G5, I took a chance with one called Delta Force for about 1/3 of the price.  For what ever reason, the bow with the Delta Force string is now shooting 295 fps compared to 272 fps with the original string. Does anyone know anything about Delta Force strings, and how this can be, or if the bow is safe to shoot? Please advise.

Could be the string material, and with that it could be how many threads were used when building the string. I believe there are 5 or 6 options, possibly more... And they all have a different thread count for a given bow weight
