The key word is: Compliance
We all need to Comply !
The only rights we have are the ones they allow us to have !

You can't fix Stupid....No matter how many laws they make, signs they put up or tickets they write!
There will always be idiots and that will never change  :twocents:

Polar bears loseing there battle for a place to live , mossy , moldy blobs moveing ashore on the Washington coast lines , California cant water there crops without dupleating unreplceable underground water sources, millions of sockeye are dying because of to high water temperatures in the mighty Columbia and forest closures due to high temperatures. These are very depressing facts we are faceing right now, ive been hunting rimrock  for 35 years and have never found any purpose for fire, don't get me wrong here ive sat around fires up there but they are never mine, im willing to do what ever it takes to get me in there includeing drownding out some clowns idea of camping, somemores or mashmellows for crap sakes, one thing for sure though guys !!!, there will not be a guy in a full blown 74 chevy pickup with full blown headers up there or some chemically treated jeep clubs , or last but not least maybe they will move the christain rock ritchual to one of the hock shop parking lots in Yakima, these plus the fact that the critters might be easier to locate , could make for a great chance up there, but that being said and maybe I shoudnt have, but lets see if fish and feathers sees it as a way to get out of this middle of the rut oppurtnities they seem to have mistakeingly given us, or at least a better time frame at least, just my opinion of course but its a good insight to what we are faceing this year.Dont even try to come on here and tell me or anyone else that we are not destroying our planet, because all your going to do is make yourself look as stupid as China, ( building coal factories like there a wallgreens !! )  :bash: :chuckle:

It's so stupid!!!  Close off the forest, make all the law abiding responsible people stay out of the woods, the morons will still find a way to go up there and still have a fire.  Only no one will be up there to report it if the forest is "closed".  You think if they can't read, ignore, or are just that oblivious  that they are going to read signs saying its closed?   Our forest service officials are morons!!!  Same scenario as closing the jeep trails in the spring, that's working out great.
The real answer is more enforcement and stiffer penalties.

Interesting....... Hate to see both the idiots in the woods that don't comply but hate to see it closed. Really bothered me when I was doing wildland fires going out on fire that were human caused...... Remember 30 Mile Fire......Idiots in the woods....Which included the IC. Maybe a good option would be partial closure of roads with non-maintained roads (walk in only), only special draw tag holders to have access with a check in/out and location of their camp. Higher patrol presence by local forest crews and law enforcement. Maybe even citizen patrols. Has to be a happy place to land on.

Well, it fits agenda 21 so you can bet it will be justified one way or another in the future.   I bet one day you will have t o check out at a checkpoint anytime you leave town. Much like coming and going at yakima firing center

We should all do our part to remind the general public to be careful with smoking and fires
Little Naches drainage was insane last weekend, guns being fired off multiple times for GP in the dark, drunks smoking at night  , dirtbikes and lots of people.
Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Surprised Janet Flanagan in the Entiat has not done it already. She has no clue how to "manage" a forest for public use.

And there is no reason at all to think a rain dance is funny in any way !! :yike: :yike: :yike: :yike:

It's stunning to think of how stupid people are. This is why I'm not buying a hunting license until right before I go

Morn'un all,

This past weekend I went camping to my favorite spot over on the Bumping River. Holy cow is it DRY out.

Since the burn ban is on I brought along the "Fake fire" propane fire ring. 'Bout sundown Saturday even'un a Ranger from Naches office pulls into camp as he saw the fire from the road. Heck of a nice Fella, we chatted a minute and he left. So,.,... at least they are out there check'un for illegal fires.

On a side note I would like to give a special Shout Out ta the low life pieces of Bovine Excrement that camped there last as they left 3 large garbage bags propped against a tree for the critters to tear inta and spread all over .... Good job  >:(  >:(  >:(
