One of my favorites also... I dont see the drakes in full plume up here very often but have seen them while down in Vantucky. Great mount and good looking bird.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Great mount! I have one of my own that I shot last year in full plumage that I need to mount. Cool looking duck!

Thanks for the comments!! I hope to get out this year, last time I was in Ridgefield there was a bunch of them. Maybe have to head down there come January see if we cant come up with a nice one like this!
