What is your favorite brand of knife
«
on:

I have a leatherman that I carry every day and would be lost without it. I also carry a pocket knife as well. I have carried it for probably 8 years now. The brand is Sheffield. It's been a great knife and my grandpa carried a old timer as long as I could remember. Just wondering what is your favorite brand of pocket knife.

I have a bucket load of knives but nothing compares to a MORA OF SWEDEN or a Runa out of Montana the old mans ones not the kids.

I love Anza Knives.
http://www.anzaknives.com/
Blades are made from old files, high carbon steel. Each knife is unique. They are hand made. Beautiful, tough, and sharp.
Here's Charlie Davis, the founder giving a demo of how he makes his knives.
Did I mention tough?

I've had a little Spyderco Ladybug with their SpyderEdge blade since the mid 90's that I use almost daily. There's been times I wished it was a little bigger but then again, if it were much bigger I probably wouldn't throw it in my pocket everyday.
For a hunting knife, I still have my original Case two blade fold out knife my dad bought me when I was a youngin but I put that in the drawer for safe keeping in 1987 when I picked up one of the first Kershaw blade traders I saw. My first one had a wood handle and a few years later a bought one of the newer ones with the rubber molded handle. Not real expensive and there's certainly much better knives out there but they work well and I never felt bad if I broke or lost one of the blades.

I have two folding Kershaws that I use for most of my needs. Just sent them both in for free lifetime sharpening that Kershaw provides. For light duty, I carry a Swiss Army two-blade and scissors everyday.
