Another knife I like is a  Havalon, I want to try the new Havalon Titan. It has two blades one standard folding and a replicable one.

Sog all the way. Lifetime warranty, lifetime sharpening (since i can't sharpen a knife to save my life). They have great deals at the factory store in Edmonds, and are almost always running specials on new knives and factory seconds.

ouch. How many stiches for that?

No stitches.  By the time I got to a medical facility, too much time had passed and they wouldn't stitch it.  Kept it closed with butterflies for a couple weeks.  Barely a scar now.

What a shame. A good scar with worth the all the pain, suffering, expense, serious infections, hospitalization, permanent disability, and near death experience. :chuckle:

The story goes, I got that scar punching out a passenger side window to save a baby that was left in a car on a hot day ;)
