Moses Lake Coyote
« on: August 28, 2015, 04:23:21 PM »
Was wondering if anyone had any tips or wanted to team up on a coyote Hunt in the Moses lake area. I am new to hunting (got my first one today actually), and would love to team up.

I work at Genie in Moses. I do not hunt here though as I live in Wilbur, 70 miles north east. I am still learning the skills to hunt these guys. I have not tried very hard though. I usually sit in the field and wait for them to come into sight, then take them down. I have cows to protect, and the yotes love to be close to the calves.

I deliver to Genie all the time (I work for Papa Johns)!! I have an Electronic caller that really gets them coming in. If youre looking for somebody to help thin out the coyotes I would definitely make a trip   :tung:

I've scouted a few spots out that way, I live in Maple Valley area on the wetside, but travel frequently over to Moses area by Rockyford, in-laws have a house we stay at a lot, let me know if you have any luck or if you want to swap information.

Told my 9 yr old I want to buy a rifle and get some coyote fir he seemed interested in learning how to skin an animal. Don't mind driving either if ya need some help. Plus if I could get one with my compound that'd be awesome . Either way. Let me know figured it give me something to do and maybe my 9 ur old will want to tag along soon to . Nothing like father and son bonding and helping out others

That's awesome, wish I had bonding like that when I was a kid! Do you know of any places? There are a few public areas and feel free to hunt areas around Moses and ephrata that could be good.

That's good enough . Thanks I'll be adding that to my search criteria . Yelm has plenty of farmers and ranchers and I keep hearing coyotes in Roy so it's going down
