Im new to Elk hunting and have never done a special hunt.

Getting the permit is a good thing.... right? Why are you guys sending them back?

The areas their permits are for are on fire and closed.

Ok, now the heartbreak is understood.

Thanks

Tony, that is really too bad.  Really bad luck.

By the way, I know on the can it says: "Beer, One Pint," but I have to ask.  Is that really beer?   :o

I'm not gonna lie, I've had a few "daddy sodas" and a couple night caps. It's been rough trying to figure out what to do. I'll head to lick creek and hit the honey holes for spikes and cows.......man, it really hurts to say that after riding such a high for a few months.

It could be worse though. I still have my home, family, job ect.....oh, and I still have my cameras in the damn wenaha!

I was going to tell you that most of the Lick Creek Unit is closed as well, but now I see a new closure map showing they opened up most/all of the unit yesterday that had been closed for the past week or so.
