West Side Rain?
« on: September 08, 2015, 01:44:27 PM »
Wait... what?  I just looked at the 10 day forecast on TWC and it appears that we will have some liquid sunshine for a good part of the opening week on our side of the Cascades.  A better season all around with the later dates and now, some cooling rain.  Don't forget your rain gear  ;)

I looked at Randle on weather.com and the 10 day forecast only showed a 20% chance of rain a few different days.  I looks pretty dry around there anyway.

Monday is a cold snap.  Form 83 sat. To 66 mon.  Rain or not those cows feel that cold snap and react accordingly.

That'll be nice. Rain can be a real downer.

I can't stay off this site because I'm so pumped for elk season.

You peeked my curiosity... in what way would they react to a cold snap? Good or Bad?

In my experience a cold snap or a rainy weather after a period of hot weather will result in a direct increase in rutting activity.
