GREAT Weekend for whitetail
« on: September 09, 2015, 07:23:27 PM »
Headed out with a couple buddies over to my folks cabin for the weekend in hopes of filling the freezer. We ended up going 2/3 out of the stands. It was great to see my buddy tag his first big game animal and fill his freezer on a big doe. And I am grateful that I tagged my biggest buck to date! Felt bad that we didn't all fill our tags, but my buddy who didn't shoot anything has a multi season tag..and he's a muley hunter anyways :chuckle:
All in all it was a great weekend with some fantastic company..now bring on my white river quality archery tag!

Here is a pic of my buck and my friends doe

Well done. Looks like some satisfied hunters in those photos. And with a multi-season tag, your friend will have plenty of chances to fill his tag.

2 for 3 on a weekend? That is pretty freaking good, a lot of parties will not do that over a season. Nice work. Great buck and doe, hoping for the best for #3

Nice buck, and a great first deer for your friend. Congradulations to you both on your success. God bless you.
