Just so we don't confuse people, if you draw a white river elk tag, you can hunt on the White river hancock properties. But not the buckley gate property which is in the white river unit BUT no access is allowed during elk season.  Unless you have the Hancock elk permit.

If I was to get it I would go in across from the  70 road. Seen several bulls going through the 75 road. Rick

You shouldn't need the pass to hunt on the 75, 73 or 74 rd system, if I'm right most of that is forest service land.  Some spots might be hancock property but most should be forest service.

All of 74 which has a gate walk in only is Hancock , going up the 75 is Hancock  for a few miles both sides of the rd. And yes there is some Bulls in there But alot of people up there as well.

I bought the pass when I drew in 2013.  Mistake. You don't need it.   I saw plenty of bulls on national forest land.
