I'm looking to go fishing with my old man, this coming week at Vernita just asking how the bite has been?   What was working for lures and bait?     Thanks

Was there last Tuesday did great. Went today, got 3 but it was real slow. Give it another week.

I have no been out for a couple weeks. I hear the crowds are back to crazy levels. I'm having a hard time getting excited about it this year....
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

Vernita is great fishing but the hoards of people and boats is a nightmare, go down river a ways. :twocents:
Just tend your own and live.
