15 days till I'm out on the mountain!! Taking the wife and 88 year old grandpa over on the 17th too look for a buck for them and get some quality scouting time in to hopefully locate the Bulls.  God I love this time of the year!!!

Finely the 2 week count down is here :chuckle: hard to focus at work bad enough as is. I've gone through all my hunting gear over a dozen times already.

Where are you planning on hunting? I knew a couple of people with the quality tag and they struck out. Didn't see hardly anything. I haven't seen many bulls this year from the peaches area.

I was in an area yesterday and had a bull screaming, but given the hole he was in I decided not to keep chasing as I'd probably be up there right now still packing out as I didn't have cell service to all for help, but they're there, just gotta be willing to go to areas most won't.

Good luck Scott....I have an Observatory bull tag, and am excited as well. You may have the better tag by far, as elk have been high and hard to find from scouting and muzzle hunter reports. Need some snow in the high country!!

I was up in the high country on the little naches side this weekend and the bulls were still bugling and herded up with their cows.  We saw several branched antler bulls and the entire area smelled like a barnyard.  Good luck with your tag!
