Used to make a camp up there in the late '90s and early 2000s for the late whitetail season. On occasion, we'd come across fresh elk sign in the snow, but I don't recall actually "seeing" elk. Always loved hunting outside of Northport, and the nice thing for you is that you have a basepoint to work from. You'll enjoy finding your own spots to hunt.
