Bear attitude
« on: September 22, 2015, 02:42:12 PM »
I have found a bow that I think will due the trick. I'm new into archery hunting, have target practiced in the past. I was looking at the bear attitude. I have a 30 inch draw. Not in a big hurry but I found this package deal on huntersfriend. Anybody have this bow or know of anyone? Read a bunch of reviews and have yet to see a bad one. Any input would be a great.

I have one of the ready to hunt packages. I actually ordered it from one of the eBay stores. Was about $100 cheaper than everywhere else I found and came with a half dozen arrows. The arrows aren't the best, but they're good enough to get you started target shooting. I have yet to hunt with the bow, just shooting a block in the back yard and doing a walk through course a few times. Its fairly light and is more accurate than me. The only issue I have had with it is after awhile the peep sight has gotten a little lose and after several shots it has a tendency to slip a little. When you pull back you are trying to look through a sideways peep which is difficult. I am sure this is a simple fix, but as I don't hunt with it currently and haven't been around a bow shop recently I haven't bothered to have it switched over to a RAD peep. Couple of personal preferences as far as the package goes. I am not a fan of the quiver. It works and holds arrows just fine. Its a little difficult to remove which I know some tree stand hunters like to do while they are sitting. Second, its only a 3 pin sight. I ordered a couple extra pins for it and now have 5 on it. Like I said those are just personal preferences and things you can upgrade as you get more into archery. I've had mine about a year and a half and have put a good number of arrows down range with it. Only thing ive done to it is wax the string.

I bought my Bear Assault from Hunter's Friend and I really like the bow and the service.
