Which unit would be better bet for late muzzy season. I know neither unit at all...
so this modern deer season I'm gonna try and hunt one of those area and few days and attempt to learn where the elk are or have been.

They are both packed with peeps.  Elk in both.  Lots of private land in Mossyrock

very little places to hunt around mossyrock that's not private or straight up and down...  south of Randle would be my choice...

Has anybody had any luck over at the cowlitz wildlife area? I was looking at some of the wdfw info and that was one spot for the mossyrock late season muzzy hunt.

It gets hunted hard and some years there isn't an elk on it.
