Hybird+bling+Green!!
« on: January 18, 2009, 06:27:55 PM »
Day 1 set-up in some moving water from the Yak flooding last weekend.. got down there at noon and 2 guns killed limmits in a few hrs. I shot all green. I spotted the band  8) as the hen came in and dad killed it ( banded in WA 2007). There was tons of ringnecks comin in but we held off on em untill a nice drake scaup came in (once again on dad's side) and he shot it (it'll be going on the wall)...it's the first nice drake we have seen in the Yak Valley.

Day 2 set-up in same spot..it was a zoo unfortunatley everybody heard us shooting down in there and pinpointed us......it was the public land whole deal, 5 year old calling, skybusting, yelling ect :bash:...but we managed to kill a few after the surrounding idiots left, and look what came in!!!!

Did'nt see what it was untill the dog brought it back...unfortunatley it was pounded by both our patterns and is'nt in the best shape but I still plan on mounting it (I hit it first! :grvn) I'm guessing Mal/Pin Cross correct?

the taxidermist has some work to do after this weekend :IBCOOL:
