my son's first big buck. 172 inches
« on: October 22, 2015, 01:18:04 PM »
He shot this buck 2 years ago on the last evening of the last day. 250 yard shot. We saw several bigger bucks throughout the season and put several stalks on he even missed a couple but managed to pull it off on the last day. He has since turned into a great hunter, consistently killing nice bucks. He's 14 in this pic. The pic isn't the greatest but I don't have my laptop with me with the better pics of it

Sheesh, your son shoots a monster at 14, now your daughter gets one at 11.  I'm not sure what all it is you're doing right but make sure you keep doing it because those are some VERY nice bucks!

FWIW, I think my adoption papers will be done soon so let me know when your ready, dad. :chuckle:

Holy carp, that's a huge animal. Nice job.
