Two Bucks Down
« on: October 23, 2015, 09:36:34 PM »
We have had a fun year putting on the miles and spending a lot of time hunting. My dad and I have been blessed this year with two nice bucks. Neither as nice as the one behemoth that I successfully missed by shooting through brush in the foreground that I couldn't see with my scope, but both great deer for us. His was a 260 yard shot downhill in the morning on the edge of a ravine and mine was a 405 yard shot right at daylight across a canyon into an open sage hillside. Still hunting for one more in our party but the Lord has blessed us with another amazing year.

Some big bucks this year. Must be the mild winters. Can't wait for late archery season.
