I usually go deer hunting with my 22 yr old son but this year he bought a house recently and just found out he going to be a daddy and can't afford to go this year. That left me with no hunting partner so my wife offered to go with me this year, she has not hunted with me since our honeymoon 23 yrs ago, (yes, you read that right) we went on a ML ELK hunt during a portion of our honeymoon (at her request BTW)She is NOT a hunter. That was the last time she ever went hunting with me, I'm really looking forward to going with her and spending some quality alone time. I normally hunt in the NE corner of the state in some nasty ass country for the late WT hunt and tent it every year, she won't stay in a tent so we got a room in Kettle Falls. I do not want to road hunt for 4 days, and I'm going to go to my usual hike in area for a day or 2 while she waits back in the truck or back in the hotel, she can't hike a ton because she is having tendonitis in her achilles, I want to be able to hunt a day or 2 with her but I'm screwed. Does anyone have or know of a farm or area near Collville/Kettle Falls area where I could hunt with her a day or 2 where we wouldn't have to hike ton to get her out? Doesn't have to be a honey hole or anything like that, just want some bonding time with her while being out in the woods, I say again, she IS NOT a hunter, LOL
