Here is a prime example of the power of "funding" to sway science:

As long as these organizations recieve their funding through the government, how can we expect honest answers?  For sure, we can expect dishonest answer so they can continue to get funding, no?

If your research relies on government funding, are you likely to say "no, global warming is not caused by human releases of a trace gas" or are you likely to say, "we are fairly certain that it is, but we need furture study"?

650 scientist signed the petition and not a word from the MSM...  How predictable   :bash:

Known this one for awhile actually but its sure nice to read in a published column!  Gonna email it to some professors here at the University and see what their comments on it are...   :chuckle:
