When an outfit doesnt give a state or city as a location anywhere on thier web page... Not gona be a place I do business.

sounds like they're somewhat local...

"WHO WE SERVE
In our eight years of existence and throughout our three branches in Washington and Oregon, we’ve served more than 15,000 young people from hundreds of different youth organizations, from treatment centers to homeless shelters, transitional houses, youth ranches, correctional facilities, and even veterans groups like the Wound Warrior Project. Below are just a few of the testimonials we’ve received from our young participants so you can read first-hand the impact of our adventure programs."

but then i found this thread...

and it seems the coolers might be produced overseas.  But the owner, Dave Pemberton, is in walla walla.

I'm with special t on this.  If they won't put their address and phone number. Their websit, there's probably a reason. Emails and cash could be heading down a black hole. I'd go to a store or website that I know.

I love seeing the competition in this space, quality will go up and price will go down.

I don't know where Igloo is located, nor do I care, but I buy their coolers.

Here is likely what is happening. This guy is pre selling these coolers so that he can bring a container load of these knock offs over from china.  Now believe it or not i may not mind if that was what i was being told... There is one problem with this scenario. Ships can be delayed, customs problems, payment problems... You are being the banker for this guys container load... Now Like i said IF i was told this up front and I knew the person doing it Id probably hand over the cash... Since 99% of the important information is left blank Id pass, OR the price would have to be ridiculously low for my to chance it.

Stein, th igloos I have are made in the USA. Not knowing anything about them is a little different, though, because you probably bought them in a store or website you knew. This guy is the importer and store, but he doesn't seem to be forthcoming on who or where he is.

after a google search of his name and Walla Walla, and reviewing outfitter-gear website. He appears to be an Insurance Agent here in Walla Walla :twocents: do a photo comparison of the picture of him on his website and the photo of the insurance agent with the same name in walla walla.
