My nephews first elk
« on: November 14, 2015, 06:32:34 PM »
I got the call to take my 14 year old nephew on the last weekend of his south cascades youth cow tag. The first weekend was a tough on for him  with   8 missed shots :yike: so when his father had to head east for a Montana mule deer hunt I was happy to take him this weekend.  It was over before it even started, one well placed  round from my 30-06 through the pump house was all she wrote.  Done bye 8:00 am.
I don't always shoot big mule deer, but when I do, it's with a bow tech!

Good job guys!
I hope when I die my wife doesn't sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them.
