I'm contemplating whether or not I should even go tomorrow?  Sounds bad.  A handful of deer on 10,000 acres?  Holy cow.

Blue tongue, yes, a shortage, no.  Saw 4 bucks today.  Several are recovering.  You might want to look close and pass on those, some are very thin.

We had a great time Saturday. Seen lots of does and 3 coyotes. Heading back over this next weekend to hopefully find a buck.

Tell your friends welcome to the General hunt  :chuckle:  but since you mentioned it I guess I'll just stay home since there is no way it will be worth hunting in the rut!  :dunno:

No lack of bucks, but lack of antler growth.   Lots of mature 4's with short tines.   I looked at 70 or so bucks before I decided to test the berger bullet in gale force winds  :chuckle:

Nice buck!

I had the tag as well. Hunted a Hunt by Reservation spot and saw a fair amount of deer for the short time I was able to hunt. Only two bucks though. Both spikes.
