was cueriouse to see if anybody has had any luck hunting for late elk in the 667 area i have been deer hunting there this year and seem to see a few elk but not to many seems to me there would be a lot of pressure unless you get way back in or wade across the river if its low enough i missed early hunt because of new job but am able to be out every morning since i work graveyard any suggestions? :dunno:

I have hunted it, not a ton of pressure I think a lot of hunters go to the Randle or Mossyrock units so they can hunt either sex.  The guys I did see had gate keys and were able to drive into some good spots. I have waded and taken a kayak across also have gone way back in, haven't seen very many elk during the late season early season has been better for me. Now with the new units that opened early season I have better options and probably wont hunt the 667 as much. Hope this helps

I'll be hunting it for late elk and deer. Lots more elk than most people realize. Tough hunting except from the road though.
