Here's a link to the current regs. If I'm wrong I'll eat crow.

Well Bruce you're right I'm WRONG there is nothing that says it anymore!!!!! Now if he will go in the cage he's only been digging all around it

Well, now you have to catch him. IMO maybe the ultimate trophy fur in WA.

What do you ( Fred and Bruce ) do you suggest for bait he won't commit to the beaver meat there was about 2" of fresh snow and his tracks were around the cage again any help on getting him to commit would be appreciated!

Boy, I have no expertise in fox trapping. Would love to catch one but never been where there are any.
Shot in the dark though. I wonder if he might be more apt to  enter with a double door trap.

If it were me I would try one of my swimthroughs, the 10x18s. Like I say just guessing.

Well my friend I caught my sly and super smart fox on vanilla wafers set for coons.   :chuckle:  Look at the photo, you can see on his face he was embarrassed.

I think I missed an otter today, had a Belisle 220 mangled and bent.  It was set under water in a neat little spot that I suspected an otter was using to get into a pond under the ice.  Sat for 10 days and nothing and then today the trigger was destroyed and on of the bars was slightly bent.

Got threatened a couple of days ago.  Trapped 6 beaver for a guy on his property and now someone from a HOA is asking the board to bring charges against me.  :)  The HOA's covenant expired in 1999 and they have no rules or regulations, so the landowner told him to pound sand.
