I stopped and took a good look at that animal yesterday.   It was pretty well fed and had bigger ears, and smaller feet than a wolf.  It was laying dead  right at someone's house, in a developed area.  It was probably some sort of hybrid, but not a wild wolf.  I was headed to the taxidermist with a wolf in the back of my truck.... Pretty opportune time for a good comparison!

One look at the paws and you have to say dog.  I get to see plenty of Wolf tracks in the mud and snow.  Wolf feet are Big!!  Once you see one, there is no comparison with a Coyote or Dog.
