How rare are they?i have only killed one out of hundreds of wigeons but didn't get it mounted.

Rare enough you probably won't shoot another.

I've only seen one in almost 30 years of duck hunting the West coast.

Very cool! I've shot hundreds, maybe even over a thousand widgeon I'm my day. I still haven't got a Euro.
