335 late archery help!
« on: November 27, 2015, 07:44:32 PM »
Brother and dad are up hunting hard I'm meeting them Monday. They aren't seeing elk in our normal area up bordering the 249 unit. Any advice from anyone?! Thanks!

We have been on some monstrous bulls. My brother has a tag and I hope he can get one. We saw three bulls last night that were still hanging out with a herd of cows. The smallest of the three was pushing 350". He is stalking one that is bedded right now. I stopped a couple hundred yards away so might be sitting here for a while. Wind is kinda iffy so may take him a while to get close enough. We are fairly low, not very far above the river.

I never made it out. Went duck hunting and filled muzzy deer tag instead after reports from dad and brother

he has a bunch of private permission. I told him not to shoot it in any type of a pasture.
