range results .204 ruger
« on: January 22, 2009, 06:05:58 PM »
First time to the range with the VTR. I sighted it in real quick a few weeks ago but just at a dune.

Today
100 yards. Slight breeze. Cold.

group of 3 was the 32 grain v-max Hornady. (1/2" group)

group of 5 was with the 40 grain v-max Hornady. (1" group)

Not exactly clovers but I think it will get er done. I think I will shoot the 40's, bit more knock down on the dogs and should not make much of a hole in teh hides.

Very nice. I need to get out soon and fine tune my Encore 204 and see how it does.

Good lookin groups, That ought to make for a lot of fun.
Of all the branches of men in the forces there is none which shows more devotion and faces grimmer perils than the submariners."
