Tri cities winter walleye
« on: October 21, 2015, 08:24:11 PM »
Hey guys, planning a trip this winter for hopefully a chance at a big ole walleye. Planning on staying in the camper and fishing for around a week. I would appreciate some advice on possible campgrounds and launches. I was planning on just playing the dates by ear and kinda play the weather. Any ideas for general dates u would shoot for?

February March if you can bear it. It warmed up early this year so we will see what next brings us?

Not sure what campgrounds might be open then but February is the month I'd go. Hood park launch on the snake or two rivers launch in Finley will put you close to fish. Shoot me a pm closer to then and I'll give you a report.

I would say February as well, as far as the camping goes you'll be stuck to private rv parks, no other camping will be open then, I like the hood park launch in burbank, and your close to fish, though I know bruises come out of the columbia across from Columbia park on the Pasco side, with launches in Columbia park.

Thanks guys. I would like to be camped right by a launch but if I have to drive. No big deal. Thanks for the advise. I think I'll just play it by ear on the timing. Maybe make a day trip or two in January just for kicks.
