Opinions on the Truglo TSX Pro series micro adjust sight?
« on: January 04, 2016, 05:39:56 PM »
I know nothing and thinking of changing out my hunting sight.
Any comments?
Truglo in general?

I've been shooting my Tru-Glo Xtreme 5 pin tool-less for several years and it's been a great sight.

Thanks for the response.
I ordered one from Camofire $59.99 for a 5 pin, tool-less sight in Realtree AP.
Easy installation even having to flip the mount.
I was shooting tight groups on the bull at 40yds in just a few minutes.
Comments:
It is heavier than the sight I replaced, but all-metal construction.
Brighter!
Comes with LED with rheostat but I believe that's illegal for hunting in WA?
Longer sight radius...I like it.
Any other comments?

Yep, no electronic accessories can be on your bow.  You should be able to remove the light from your sight to keep it legal.

Yes, I think it just unscrews, but it's pretty fun to play with!
I really don't see why someone would pay 3X as much for a sight.

chem-light kids bracelets from the dollar store are just about perfect to fit around the housing...
