It seems like the ability to embed YouTube videos is back.
Just click the YouTube tab from the options above the post box, then paste the link in the middle.

I have embedded just by copying the link into the body of the post.  I think the server properly parses it without the tag, even.

Yes indeed. I just figured that out. Not sure why that tab even exists now.

When it used to work, you'd have to remove the "s" in "https..." in order to remove the security function I think youtube uses. Don't have to do that anymore either.
