2016 smelt dipping

Paper just said probably no more dipping, but for the last 2 days the lower Cowlitz has been loaded, tons of birds and sea lions.   There's a pod of sea lions in a circle clogging the mouth of the Coweeman.   Mom saw hundreds more sea lions swim up past Cathlamet yesterday too.

1/4 bucket is a tough sell for distance.. back in NY state the fingerlake run was a 5 gal pale per outing... now that makes a speed run from seattle worth the effort..
