Bugle Magazine March/April 2016
« on: March 05, 2016, 09:23:21 PM »
Just wanted to share that my most beautiful wife and daughters picture is in this recent Bugle Magazine. Sent in the pic 5yrs ago when daughter was 5 months old. I hauled her from the parking at Oak Creek feed lot up and over into the first canyon. Sent the wife down and across the canyon looking for the elusive elk shed..... We stop and take a break and eat some snacks. A dude goes by about a hundred yards out down and across to the side the wife is on and sits down. I see him glassing back on our side and he looks upset???? I start some more glassing and out in front about 80yds from me and our 5 month old daughter I see an antler sticking up out of the grass!!!! I pick her up and run over to it before anybody else from the Oak Creek Crew sees it!!!! I put her down in front of the antler and she grabs ahold of it. She was the first human to ever touch that antler. It now sits on her window  sill  for her to cherish the rest of her life. We have made the Oak Creek opener for a lot of years and plan to continue to.  Our family is life members of Bugle and really enjoy the stories and pics!!!!!!
