Hornady ELD-X ammo
« on: March 10, 2016, 12:15:38 PM »
Anybody tried it?  Been reading up on it.  Gimmic or the real deal.  Thinking about trying some of the 7mm factory loads.

I want to reload them for my 300 WM but having a hard time finding the 178gr, they put a lot of R&D into these bullets, I believe they are the real deal...  :twocents:

I've been playing with 200gr in my RUM and it took a bit but have them running
3200 fps at .5 groups with H1000 and I'm very happy with that!

I have been curious about those 200grainers in the rum, played with the 212's but they really liked to be long so I had to single feed them. whats your oal with those 200's swift?

Sportsman's in Vancouver have 1 box of 7mm ELD Match.  No X.  Looks like I'm on a quest.  Got 2 boxes Berger VLD's to bankroll it. :chuckle:
