We have a litter of Border Collies puppies that need a good home. Both the Sire and the Dame are ours. We have had the Dame for 4 years now, and bought the Sire last year, with the intent to neuter the male when he reached adulthood. When the female came into heat in December we asked the vet and he said the male probably could not breed. Oooops. Unexpected teenaged pregnancy. Apparently the boy's plumbing works just fine.
There are 7 puppies: 2 female, and 5 male (both of the females have been reserved). Both of the parents are ABCA (American Border Collie Association) registered. The puppies were born on February 2nd, and will be ready for new homes in early April. The puppies will be inspected by our veterinarian in late March, and receive their first vaccinations and be de-wormed. All of the puppies will come with the doctor's report (in the case there are any deformities observed, we will not sell those puppies, but keep them).
The Dame is thin, agile, and very active. 35-lbs. holding weight. She is an excellent runner (she and I run 8 miles together every other day, and she still has plenty of energy). She is the best Frisbee border we have ever had. Very intense concentration. Very sweet in the house. Typical black & white Border.
The Sire is still young (just 14 months now), so it is hard to describe him. I have just started to run with him, and he is still a teenager. He will be a larger Border, he is big chested and will probably run 50-lbs. (as does his own father). Black, brown and white. He is somewhat intimidated by the Dame, but quite a free spirit when he is alone.
Conditions of Sale:
• We do not plan to register the puppies with ABCA. However, if you elect to register the puppies with ABCA we would be happy to do this for you (you cannot do it on your own). We would charge you whatever fees are involved (no fees added on our side).
• There are currently 5 male puppies available.
• Each puppy sold will come with a Bill of Sale, and a copy of the veterinary inspection report (vaccination history).
• We will not provide copies of our ABCA registration papers (you may view them when you pick up the puppies), unless you pay for registration.
• We will provide no guarantees regarding health, other than an honest description of the puppy since birth, and the doctor's own assessment. Again, we are not in the business of breeding puppies, and simply want this litter to go to good homes.
• We will not ship. Please come to Kitsap county to get your puppy.
