I'm unfortunately one of those who have been skunked every time out this year 😑. It will happen, I know it will. Fished Moses lake off Stratford bridge for 4 hours today and didn't get a bite, the Russian guy next to me caught his limit on about 30 minutes

Yeah I wasn't too worried about not catching any fish, it was bound to happen one of these years of fishing that lake haha. We'll be back over at potholes third week of this month and I'm sure we'll catch plenty then.

Heading there this weekend what's a good set up to troll for Walleye? and how deep? I know a good old worm on a hook from the bank will get a few Bass but have never caught a Walleye and would like to try. Thanks

I just finished fishing the Potholes Open. Two day team event. Took 45lbs and change to win it. Almost a 4 lb average. Big fish was 7 and change on a spinner bait. Flipping jig into the brush was the ticket and way back in the dunes.

Yes, Bass. Only had one incidental walleye on. The face of the dam and the rock pile were putting out nice smallies. Cranking and dragging. Looks like weather this weekend is going to be alittle iffy with a cold snap coming in.
